Wow, it's been, like, forever since I last blogged, huh? Terribly sorry about that. There have been a combination of reasons for that. Mostly it's just a matter of time . . . working 40 hours a week, in class an additional 9-12 hours, spending close to 20 hours studying, then trying to cram in things like grocery shopping, yard work, dishes, cleaning, paying attention to Duncan and some semblance of a social life to keep my sanity kinda means that the blogging has taken a back burner. Really, it's more like the burner with the plugged gas line that doesn't really work but is too much of a hassle to fix so never gets used. But it's also because I really haven't had much to blog about (unless you really want me to start posting case briefs, which you don't, because it's really dry reading). Work still sucks big fat donkey balls. Truth be told, I've gotten to the point where I simply don't give a shit. I show up, put in my 8 hours doing the absolute minimum (and sometimes less), do whatever I'm told to do without questioning anything (unless it's outside my job description) and collect my paycheck. It's not worth the headaches anymore. The only thing that makes it bearable is a select few co-workers. Meanwhile I try to find the time to do some job hunting. So basically, I've kinda chosen to give up the blogging rather than subject y'all to my incessant and repeated gripes about how incompetent my supervisor is, as well as her boss, and the complete BS coming from management & HR and elsewhere.

Speaking of work and it's suckitude, go check THIS PLACE out. Hehe, it's fun. Well, for a few minutes anyway.

I caught a little bit of the VP debate (re-run, actually, since I was in class during the live broadcast). Palin is such a tool. Everyone keeps talking about how "well she was coached." Hogwash! She was flat-out reading her answers to many of those questions! It wasn't "coaching", it was being given pre-written answers to known questions ahead of time. I'm not claiming there was any one-sided shenanigans--I'm sure Biden had the questions ahead of time, too. But it's rediculous how these events are billed as "debates" when, in fact, they are nothing more than stumping & speeching. Enough ranting, though.

Last weekend, I neglected my studies a bit and headed out to the local RennFaire. Much fun. The highlight, IMO, is always Moonie & Broon. Their individual acts are a riot, and together they're dangerously hilarious. Plus, there were plenty of lovely ladies in bodices & corsettes and such like to make life enjoyable.

I keep thinking I should put up another Babe of the Month posting, since it's been I-don't-even-know-when since the last one. But, time constraints and all kinda interfere with proper BotM researching. I may try sometime soon, though.

Anyway, just wanted to say "Hi" to y'all (like anyone's still reading this! HA!) and let you know that I"m still alive (physically) and relatively well. Duncan's lonely, but getting along fine (despite his increasing years and a few associated issues with that).

Wow. I've been reading your stuff for about a year now and this is basically the only sh*t I dont agree with. Give atleast a little credit where credit is due. Kobe got his ass kicked by this so called fluke. So what? Chill out. No one said the Rockets were the best team.,614945,http://nomadechoes.blogdrive.com/archive/634.html
