I stole this from my girl. Here's the rules: * Pick fifteen of your favorite movies. * Go to IMDb and find a quote from each movie. * Post them here for everyone to guess. * Strike it out when someone guesses correctly, and put who guessed it and the movie. * NO Googling or using IMDb search f . . . Last night I once again was lucky enough to spend time in the company of a particular beautiful woman. And together we enjoyed the wonderfully romantic & feel-good musical Sweeney Todd. Seriously, it was a really good movie. Depp should definitely get the Oscar nod. I'm not normally one for musi . . . ()

Last night I headed out to see Echanted. Now before you go and start laughing, I would like to point out that: No, I was not a weirdo single guy who went to see a Disney romantic comedy by himself. I had very pleasant female company. But enough about that. The movie was quite entertaining . . . . . . ()

Transformers, the movie, is out now. Thumbs up. Way up. 'Nuff said. Go see it. Heck, if for nothing else than the eye candy. Meaning the special effects. Well, that and the spectacularly gorgeous Megan Fox and Rachael Taylor. But even without them it'd still get a thumbs up. . . . ()

The doctor I saw on Wednesday about the problems I've been having is a bit of a moron. Three weeks ago my regular doc referred me to him. After his initial exam, he essentially said "Gee, I dunno what's wrong. Take these meds and see me again in 3 weeks." Wednesday he essentially said "Gee, the . . . ()

There are disadvantages to having a desk near a window. While it's nice to be able to look out and see various attractive women walking around, my particular windows have a major draft. Today, it was 58 degrees at my desk (yes, we had a thermometer), not counting the windchill. I was watching O . . . ()

Is anyone really surprised that I've already seen a showing of Superman Returns? I didn't think so. I was never much of a Superman fan. At least, not the comics. I loved watching the old TV series as a kid (reruns, of course--I am not that old!), and enjoyed the first two original films. Superm . . . ()

I'm sure it comes as no surprise to many of you that I caught a showing of X-Men: The Last Stand today. I must say, though, that I was not entirely thrilled with the experience. Obviously, I don't want to give away any major plot points, but may slip up and reveal something you didn't want to know . . . ()

It is pure, unadulterated, absolute sacrilege I tell you! How dare they try to remake this classic. Remakes are almost never as good as the original. Really, the only instance of success I can think of off-hand is Evil Dead II, and that wasn't even truly a remake but a "revisioning" of Evil Dead. . . . ()

I have this urge to post. But not much in the way of ideas. Then I realized that it is conveniently about the right time for one of my annual semi-bi-weekly Movie Madness quizzes. What is that? you ask. Here's how it works (it's quite simple, really). I have randomly selected five movies from my . . . ()
