There are disadvantages to having a desk near a window. While it's nice to be able to look out and see various attractive women walking around, my particular windows have a major draft. Today, it was 58 degrees at my desk (yes, we had a thermometer), not counting the windchill.
I was watching One vs 100
the other day. A question came up along the lines of "How many 6-packs of beer would you need to complete the song '99 bottles of beer on the wall'?" Both the contestant and one of the "Mob" members stated they had trouble with the question because they "don't drink beer". WTF?!?! It's a damn math question you morons, you don't need to drink beer to know what 99/6 is.
Oh how I wish I could share some of the details of my work with y'all. People can be really stupid. Seriously. Really. And just when you think someone is as stupid as they can be, they go ahead and do/say something even stupider.
see this movie
. This may require my reliance on you guys reminding me when it comes out. If I miss seeing this movie
because you bastards forget to remind me, I shall be extremely cross. And don't worry, Kim
. . . when they say "Hot Fuzz
" they're not referring to your ass.
If ever you decide to take your dog to the beach, definitely check the high/low tide times before going. Having only 5 feet of beach to walk on with a spastic dog is not as much fun as it sounds.
I still haven't figured out what to get my uncle for Christmas. Yes, I'm referring to that holiday that passed us by a few weeks ago. Yes, I realize what a terrible nepphew that makes me. If you have any suggestions (on a gift, not how to punish myself) I'm listening.
I'm down to just TWO TO GO!!!
You are proud of me, I know. It is such a glorious accomplishment. I am, unfortunately, having trouble procuring one of the remaining two. I hate the thought of not finding it, and thus having my life never be complete.
My cell phone is dying a slow death. The battery is having trouble holding a charge, and while it's still useable for the time being, it's only a matter of time before it gives up the ghost. But, I'm not ready to sign a new contract right now. Part of me is still contemplates relocation, in which case I'll probably change providers. Or at the minimum, change the details of my service. But I dont' want to do that yet, because for now my current plan meets my needs and costs about half what I'd pay if I switched (even to the cheapest plan . . . yeah, I'm grandfathered in with a kick ass cost).
